Softball Dominates Washington 10-1 in Shortened Game

Gulf Breeze traveled to Pensacola Thursday night for a non-district match-up with the Booker T. Washington Wildcats. The Dolphins displayed their dominance early, opening the first inning with three runs and posting five runs in the fifth, which shortened the game due to the "mercy rule". Gulf Breeze scored at least one run in each of the five innings played. Pitcher Alex Branton recorded another win, surrendering only a single run and four hits over 4.0 innings pitched. The Dolphin hitters scattered 13 hits over five innings. There were no errors for either squad.
